A delegation of hotel managers from Cyprus visited Israeli hotels using the Optima Line.

During September 2002, 20 Cypriot hotel managers and group mangers came to Israel to view the Optima Line in operation, meet the people who work with the systems, learn from the actual users about the advantages of the Optima Line, see how new technology helped the hotel groups to improve working procedure and listen to how hotels in Israel manage to save money and make money using the Optima Line.

The delegation spent a day in Tel Aviv and a day in Eilat, Israel’s largest resort city on the Red Sea, during which, they have met some of the leading hotel managers in the country, who were ready to spend the time and tell their foreign collogues how the Optima Line improved their procedures and the bottom line in their organizations.

The ASP concept was introduces to the delegation and they saw the numerous advantages of this concept. Mrs. Hemda Hoffmann, GM Rimonim Group explained how she controls all the reservations within her group. Mr. Gadi Priver, manager of the Fattal Group, described how he manages rates by the hour using the Multi PMS and how the central database helps him make fast on-line decisions.

The Israeli managers told the delegation how new applications assist them reach higher targets of occupancy and room rates. Mr. Gadi Priver described it the best way saying that the Fattal Hotels and Silverbyte grew together and he feels that one could not do without the other.

The delegation spent their first night at the Optima Tower in Tel Aviv and the second night at the fabulous Le-Meridien Hotel in Eilat. Sushi dinner and get-together at the exotic bars of Eilat made the visit both educational and entertaining.
