Silverbyte Systems to computerize second Golden Tulip Hotel in Israel 

Haifa, Israel - March 17, 2005 - Fattal Hotel Management, controlled by David Fattal, has signed an agreement with the Golden Tulip Hospitality BV international hotel and resort chain to open another of the chain's hotels in Israel in April.

The new hotel in Eilat was extensively renovated and upgraded at a cost of $3 million has 280 rooms, restaurant, lobby, and conference hall. The hotel's conference hall is the largest in Eilat. The hotel also installed Israel's first water park in its pool area.

The Optima Line of Hotel Management Software by Silverbyte Systems will manage the entire activities of the hotel, including the synchronization with the Fattal CRS in Tel Aviv.

Golden Tulip is one of the world's largest hotel chains, franchising 251 hotels in 37 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

 

Fattal Hotel Management is one of Silverbyte’s largest customer, operating 11 hotels and a CRS in Israel, and it is Israel's largest hotel chain. Fattal Hotel Management manages 3,833 hotel rooms, most of them are along the Dead Sea shore and in Eilat. The company has 3,000 employees, and its annual revenue is estimated at NIS 450 million. In addition to the Golden Tulip brand, the chain also operates the Meridian, Club Med, Magic, and Paradise brands. 

 The Optima Hotel Management System units installed in the hotel are:

Optima PMS - A state of the art; Windows based Property Management System that incorporates the latest in advanced technology. It is designed to provide all the features of a sophisticated Front Office system linked with other computerized hotel applications on one relational SQL database.

Optima Easy POS - An advanced computerized system for restaurants, coffee shops, fast food counters, pubs and other Hotel outlets.

OscarAn advanced Guest service center application that tracks all guests requests and complaints, makes sure guest receives a quick response and verifies guest’s satisfaction.

The hotel information and database was added to the Fattal Hotels Multi Property Management System (Optima MPMS), Optima CRS, Optima Sales & Quotations and all other central applications running on the group’s server farm in the southern resort city Eilat.
