Silverbyte Introduces Optima to the Hotel Managers in Myanmar

Yangon, Myanmar - Silverbyte, together with its Myanmar partner, Lucky Bird Group of Companies, held a seminar to hotel managers in Yangon. The seminar, attended by representatives of 42 hotels in Yangon, was opened by Mr. Hagay Behar, Israel Ambassador to Myanmar, that spoke about the technological achievements of Israel in general and the developing relationship between the countries.

Mrs. May Phyu Thwe, Director of Lucky Bird, spoke about the abilities of Lucky Bird to sell a complete turn key solution to the hotels in Myanmar including Optima software solutions, hardware and innovative communication solutions allowing hotel groups to run in multi environment under one central data center.

Mr. David Boker, General Manager of Silverbyte Systems spoke about the growth of tourism to Myanmar, the expansion of hotels and the future of the hospitality industry in Myanmar. As the International brands are looking to start working in the country, Internet is penetrating quickly and the introduction of credit cards system in Myanmar, the competition will rapidly grow. Hotels that will use advanced hospitality technology and international standards will find it easier to cope with this growing competition. With local implementation and support, Optima is the ideal solution for the Myanmar hotels allowing them to gradually implement European methodologies and standards while slowly adapting Internet tools to connect to the International leading sales channels.
