The Regency Hotel selects Optima as its next generation Hotel Management System

Jerusalem, 5 December, 2005. The Regency Jerusalem Hotel (formerly the Hyatt Jerusalem) announced last week that it has decided to upgrade its entire computer system to Silverbyte Systems’ Optima Line of Hotel management Software.

“We looked closely at several systems and focused on a system that will help us improve the efficiency of our work process, control and management of this large and complex hotel, while still maintain our high standards of service to our guests” said Tzachi Ben Zur, Hotel Director. “We need to make sure that our 502 rooms, 17 banqueting halls, 4 restaurants and the largest and most sophisticated spa in Jerusalem will not only sell the best possible way but also be managed in a trouble-free, smooth yet strict and precise manner. We have learned that the Optima package will give us the flexibility and customization that we need both as a Jerusalem hotel and as a privately owned large hotel. Our decision is evidence to our belief that Silverbyte Systems will be our technological partner in the next generation”.

Implementation of Optima Line in the Regency Jerusalem Hotel includes the Optima PMS, Optima Priority (Back Office), Optima Oscar (Guest Service Centre), Optima Easy-POS, Optima Events, Optima Spa, Optima Interfaces and website solutions for hotels.

The Regency Jerusalem Hotel (formerly the Hyatt Jerusalem) is a 502 rooms, five stars deluxe hotel listed in the 2004 Gold Reserve list of World’s Best Places to Stay of Condè Nast Traveler. Its Spa facilities are quoted as “Some of the best health club facilities in town” by Frommer’s. The hotel was rated ‘Excellent’ by Fodors.com
