The 600 rooms Le Meridien Dead Sea Hotel is implementing the Optima Hotel Management System with 75 workstations and 20 Points of Sales.


The hotel is managed by the Fattal Hotel Group and joins the Le-Meridien, Golden Tulip, Club Med, Magic and Paradise hotels already managed by the company.

  Le Meridien Dead Sea Resort and Spa

The Le Meridien Dead Sea Resort and Spa, with the finest Palladian marble floors, is a unique resort destination, commanding exquisite views of the Dead Sea and the mountains beyond. Set amidst 50,000 square meters of lush oasis landscaping and lake-size pools, hotel facilities include the Middle East's largest, most luxurious spa - The Mineralia Spa - a medical center, four colourful theme restaurants, the largest convention facilities in the region and a Resort Center offering unique desert excursions.

The 600 Guest Rooms and Suites are luxuriously appointed and designed to provide the utmost in comfort and convenience. All rooms have terraces and balconies facing the Dead Sea and the Judean Hills, bathrooms with separate shower, and are equipped with individually controlled air conditioning, safe, minibar, telephone and voicemail, remote controlled colour TV, radio and hairdryer, and feature Italian and Turkish furnishings.

Silverbyte's implementation project includes the Optima PMS, Easy-POS, optima Spa, Oscar and connection to the Fattal Group's Multi PMS, Optima Sales and Quotations, CRO Reports and central utilities.  

Optima PMS - A state of the art; Windows based Property Management System that incorporates the latest in advanced technology. It is designed to provide all the features of a sophisticated Front Office system linked with other computerized hotel applications on one relational SQL database.

Optima POS - An advanced computerized system for restaurants, coffee shops, fast food counters, pubs and other Hotel outlets.

OscarAn advanced Guest service center application that tracks all guests requests and complaints, makes sure guest receives a quick response and verifies guest’s satisfaction.

Optima Spa A spa scheduling and management system fully integrated with the PMS.

The hotel information and database was added to the Fattal Hotels Multi Property Management System (Optima MPMS), Optima CRS, Optima Sales & Quotations and all other central applications running on the group’s server farm in the southern resort city Eilat.

The former Vice President for operations of Silverbyte and Project Manager, stated, "Once again, the Fattal Group checked our ability to complete such project in a relatively short time. The whole process took us just over two weeks. We have proved again that the Optima Line of Hotel Management Software is easy to define and operate, yet still offer a depth of features that improve management efficiency and guest services. We are now looking forwards to implementing the Club Med, another new member to the Fattal hotels. "  

The Fattal Group is now the largest hotel group in Israel, managing 11 hotels.

Hyatt Dead Sea joins Fattal hotel chain;
Fattal Hotel Management and Dan Hotels are now Israel's largest hotel chains, each with 12 hotels.

Fattal Hotel Management today signed a managing contract to operate the Hyatt Dead Sea Resort and Spa, giving the hotel chain 12 hotels in Israel.

Fattal Hotel Management and Dan Hotels (TASE: DANH) are now Israel's largest hotel chains, each with 12 hotels.

The Hyatt  is the largest hotel at the Dead Sea, with 580 rooms. Fattal Hotel has 3,830 rooms. The Hatt is its third Dead Sea hotel, after Magic Nirvana Club Hotel Dead Sea and Golden Tulip Hotel Dead Sea, giving Fattal Hotel 1,300 of the 4,000 hotel rooms at the Dead Sea.

Fattal Hotel is Israel's only hotel chain to acquire new hotels during the recession. Fattal Hotel acquired the Club Med hotel in Eilat two months ago, and Golden at the Dead Sea more than six months ago. Fattal Hotel will also start operating the Meridian Hotel in the Azrieli Center in 2006.
